The Country Club Lima Hotel, in collaboration with the Museo Pedro de Osma, is adding new pieces from the museum's collection to its main spaces. This partnership makes it possible to appreciate part of Peru's artistic heritage in a different setting, bringing guests and visitors closer to historic works that will be restored at the Country Club Lima Hotel through December 17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visits to the exhibition will be completely free.
The selected pieces include wood carvings, frames, chests, wardrobes and canvases dating from the 18th to the 20th century. A tabernacle door from the 18th century stands out, along with other carvings that originally formed part of viceregal altarpieces. Gold leaf frames, characteristic of the viceregal style that combines Spanish and Andean influences, will also be part of the exhibition.
During December, the museum's restoration team will carry out on-site work on the pieces installed at the Country Club Lima Hotel. The process will be visible to the public, making it possible to observe up close the specialized work that ensures the preservation of this heritage.
